  1. Juruukur Bahan Technologist / Quantity Surveying Technologist (QST)
    • Mereka yang mempunyai kelulusan akademik seperti berikut :
      1. Ijazah Ukur Bahan yang diperakui oleh LJBM
      2. Ijazah Berkaitan Ukur Bahan yang Diperakui oleh LJBM
      3. Diploma Ukur Bahan Yang diiktiraf oleh LJBM dan memenuhi semua keperluan berikut :
        1. Probationer Member Royal Institute of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM)
        2. Bekerja dalam bidang berkaitan industri pembinaan
        3. Lulus Sekurang-kurangnya 3 kertas dalam Peperiksaan Direct Final meliputi:- Professional Practice – Measurement
  2. Juruukur Bahan Provisional / Provisional Quantity Surveyor (PVQS)
    • Mereka yang mempunyai kelulusan akademik seperti berikut :
      1. Ijazah Ukur Bahan yang diiktiraf oleh LJBM
      2. Ijazah Ukur Bahan yang diperakui oleh LJBM dan memenuhi semua keperluan berikut :
        1. Sekurang-kurangnya 10 tahun pengalaman kerja berkaitan Ukur Bahan
        2. Keahlian dalam institusi berkaitan Ukur Bahan yang diluluskan oleh LJBM
    • Juruukur Bahan Technologist (QST) yang telah memenuhi semua keperluan yang ditetapkan untuk menaik taraf pendaftaran mereka sebagai PVQS
  3. Juruukur Bahan Profesional / Professional Quantity Surveyor(PQS) Juruukur Bahan Provisional (PVQS) yang telah memenuhi syarat yang ditetapkan untuk menaik taraf pendaftaran sebagai PQS. Sila rujuk Garis Panduan Tier-1 di pautan xxxxxxx untuk prosedur berkaitan
  4. Juruukur Bahan Consultant / Consultant Quantity Surveyor (CQS) Juruukur Bahan Profesional (PVS) yang telah memenuhi syarat yang ditetapkan untuk menaik taraf pendaftaran sebagai CQS. Sila rujuk Garis Panduan Tier-2 di pautan xxxxxxx untuk prosedur berkaitan
  5. Firma Perunding Ukur Bahan / Consulting Quantity Surveying Practice (CQSP) Mempunyai struktur firma yang dibenarkan seperti berikut:
    1. Pertubuhan Perbadanan
    • Sekurang-kurangnya 2/3 daripada pengarah terdiri daripada CQS, dan
    • Sekurang-kurangnya 70% ekuiti dipegang oleh CQS
  6. Perkongsian Semua rakan kongsi terdiri daripada CQS
  7. Tuan Punya Tunggal Prinsipal adalah seorang CQS

  • Firma Perunding Pelbagai Disiplin / Multi-Disciplinary Practice (MDP) Mempunyai struktur firma yang dibenarkan seperti berikut :
    • Pengarah terdiri daripada CQS dan/ atau Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate (PEPC) dan/ atau Arkitek
    • Sekurang-kurangnya 70% ekuiti dipegang oleh kombinasi pengarah CQS dan/ atau PEPC dan/ atau Arkitek dan/ atau pertubuhan perbadanan yang memberikan perkhidmatan Perunding Ukur Bahan dan/ atau Perunding Kejuruteraan / Perunding Arkitek
    • Maksima 30% ekuiti dipegang oleh mana-mana individu yang mempunyai profesion berkaitan dengan Ukur Bahan/ Kejuruteraan/ Arkitek

    QSIC – QS International Convention (QSIC) adalah program tahunan yang secara tradisinya dianjurkan bersama oleh LJBM dengan universiti tempatan, RISM, Cawangan Kontrak dan Ukur Bahan, Jabatan Kerja Raya (CKUB JKR) dan disokong oleh Lembaga Pembangunan Industri Pembinaan Malaysia (Construction Industry Development Board – CIDB).

    PQRS – Program for QS Registration Scheme (PQRS) merupakan program tahunan yang diadakan bertujuan untuk membimbing dan memberi motivasi kepada graduan ukur bahan mengenai hala tuju profesion ukur bahan serta keperluan menaik taraf pendaftaran mereka sebagai Juruukur Bahan Profesional. Program ini dianjurkan dengan kerjasama universiti-universiti tempatan yang menawarkan program yang diiktiraf oleh LJBM.

    CPD – Di bawah Peraturan Jurukur Bahan, CPD ditakrifkan sebagai Continuing Professional Development iaitu program atau aktiviti yang berkaitan dengan profesion QS Technologist (QST), (PVQS), Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) dan Consultant Quantity Surveyor (CQS) seperti yang telah digariskan di bawah Peraturan yang dikeluarkan oleh LJBM. Setiap ahli yang berdaftar dengan LJBM diwajibkan untuk memenuhi keperluan CPD yang ditetapkan bagi tujuan pembaharuan tahunan keahlian dengan LJBM.

    QSIC – Pembayaran boleh dibuat melalui akaun berikut:-

    PQRS – Pembayaran boleh dibuat melalui akaun berikut:-

    CPD – Pembayaran boleh dibuat melalui akaun berikut:-

    Pengadu boleh mengisi borang aduan dan menghantar borang tersebut secara fizikal ke pejabat LJBM atau emelkan ke info@bqsm.gov.my.

    Sebarang aduan berkenaan sistem ReQSys 2.0 atau lain-lain Sistem Aplikasi boleh dibuat dengan mengisi borang aduan. Borang aduan tersebut boleh dihantar secara fizikal ke pejabat LJBM atau melalui emel ke info@bqsm.gov.my.

    Pengunjung tidak perlu mendaftar masuk. Borang aduan tersebut boleh dicapai melalui pautan tersebut :

    Permohonan boleh dibuat dengan memuat naik sijil kehadiran di dalam MyCPD – bahagian “External”.

    1. Minimum sepuluh (10) mata kredit CPD untuk PQS dan CQS.
    2. Minimum lima (5) mata kredit CPD untuk PVQS.
    3. Minimum lima (5) mata kredit CPD untuk QST.
    4. Minimum lima (5) mata kredit CPD untuk PQS atau CQS yang berumur antara 55 hingga 60 tahun.
    5. Minimum dua (2) mata kredit CPD untuk semua QST, PVQS, PQS dan CQS yang bermastautin atau bekerja di luar negara, atau menyambung pengajian di luar negara (minimum 6 bulan) atau tidak bekerja.
      Keperluan di atas adalah sama bagi tujuan pemasukan semula pendaftaran

    Hanya PQS dan CQS sahaja dibenarkan untuk membawa maksimum 5 mata kredit CPD ke tahun berikutnya.

    Langkah-langkah untuk menyertai program CPD adalah berikut:

    1. Layari Portal Rasmi LJBM (www.bqsm.gov.my)
    2. Klik “Log in“
    3. Masukan ID Pengguna dan Kata Laluan
    4. Klik Pada Nama Anda dan Pilih Menu “Online System ReQSys“
    5. Klik Menu MyCPD dan Pilih Tajuk Program
    6. Klik “Enroll“

    Bagi pemohon bukan ahli berdaftar dengan LJBM, boleh mengemukakan permohonan melalui emel di cpd@bqsm.gov.my

    1. Quantity Surveying Technologist Technologist/Quantity Surveying Technologist (QST)
      • Those with the following academic qualifications:
        1. Degree in Material Surveying certified by LJBM
        2. Degree Related to Material Surveying Certified by LJBM
        3. Diploma in Quantity Surveying Recognized by LJBM and meets all the following requirements:
          1. Probationer Member Royal Institute of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM)
          2. Working in a field related to the construction industry
          3. Pass At least 3 papers in the Direct Final Examination covering:- Professional Practice – Measurement
    2. Provisional Quantity Surveyor/ Provisional Quantity Surveyor  (PVQS)
      • Those with the following academic qualifications:
        1. Degree in Quantity Surveying recognized by LJBM
        2. Degree in Quantity Surveying certified by LJBM and meets all the following requirements:
          1. At least 10 years of work experience related to Material Surveying
          2. Membership in a Quantity Surveying related institution approved by LJBM
      • Technologist Quantity Surveyors (QST) who have met all the requirements set to upgrade their registration as PVQS
    3. Professional Quantity Surveyor/ Professional Quantity Surveyor  (PQS) Provisional Quantity Surveyors (PVQS) who have met the requirements set to upgrade their registration as PQS. Please refer to the Tier-1 Guidelines for related procedures
    4. Quantity Surveyor Consultant / Consultant Quantity Surveyor (CQS) Professional Quantity Surveyors (PVS) who have met the requirements set to upgrade their registration as CQS. Please refer to the Tier-2 Guidelines for related procedures
    5. Consulting Quantity Surveying Practice (CQSP) Has the following permitted firm structure:
      1. Corporation Organization
      • At least 2/3 of the directors are CQS, and
      • At least 70% of the equity is held by CQS
    6. Sharing All partners consist of CQS
    7. Sole Proprietor The principal is a CQS

    • Multi-Disciplinary Practice (MDP) has the following permitted firm structure:
      • Directors consist of CQS and/ or Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate (PEPC) and/ or Architect
      • At least 70% equity is held by a combination of CQS and/ or PEPC directors and/ or Architects and/ or body corporate providing the services of Quantity Surveying Consultants and/ or Engineering Consultants/ Architectural Consultants
      • A maximum of 30% equity is held by any individual with a profession related to Materials Surveying/ Engineering/ Architecture

    QSIC-QS International Convention (QSIC) is an annual program traditionally organized jointly by LJBM with local universities, RISM, Contracts and Quantity Surveying Branch, Public Works Department (CKUB ​​JKR) and supported by the Malaysian Construction Industry Development Board ( Construction Industry Development Board – CIDB).

    PQRS-Program for QS Registration Scheme (PQRS) is an annual program held to guide and motivate materials surveying graduates on the direction of the materials surveying profession as well as the need to upgrade their registration as Professional Materials Surveyors. This program is organized in collaboration with local universities that offer programs recognized by LJBM.

    CPD-Under the Quantity Surveyors Regulations, CPD is defined as Continuing Professional Development i.e. programs or activities related to the QS profession Technologist (QST), (PVQS), Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) and Consultant Quantity Surveyor (CQS) as outlined under the Rules issued by LJBM. Every member registered with LJBM is required to meet the CPD requirements set for the purpose of annual renewal of membership with LJBM.

    Complainants can fill out the complaint form and send the form physically to the LJBM office or email it to info@bqsm.gov.my.

    Any complaints regarding the ReQSys 2.0 system or other Application Systems can be made by filling in the complaint form. The complaint form can be sent physically to the LJBM office or via email to info@bqsm .gov.my.

    Visitors do not need to sign in. The complaint form can be accessed through The Helpdesk

    Applications can be made by uploading a certificate of attendance in MyCPD-section “ External ”.

    1. Minimum of ten (10) CPD credit points for PQS and CQS.
    2. Minimum of five (5) CPD credit points for PVQS.
    3. Minimum of five (5) CPD credit points for QST.
    4. Minimum of five (5) CPD credit points for PQS or CQS aged between 55 and 60 years.
    5. Minimum of two (2) CPD credit points for all QST, PVQS, PQS and CQS residing or working abroad, or continuing studies at abroad (minimum 6 months) or not working.

    The above requirements are the same for the purpose of re-entry registration

    Only PQS and CQS are allowed to carry a maximum of 5 CPD credit points to the following year.

     The steps for joining the CPD program are as follows:

    1. Visit the LJBM Official Portal (www.bqsm.gov.my)
    2. Click “Log in“
    3. Enter User ID and Password
    4. Click On Your Name and Select Menu “Online System ReQSys”
    5. Click the MyCPD Menu and Select Program Title
    6. Click “Enroll“
