Important Notes

  1. Only completed applications will be processed. Please ensure that all items listed in the checklist are fulfilled.

  2. Please note that all applications will be tabled in the Registration and Qualifications Committee Meeting for certification before being tabled at the Board Meeting for formal decision. Applications received less than 3 days from the date of the Committee Meeting will only be tabled in the next Board Meeting.

  3. Applications are online through the ReQSys system and must adhere to a pre-determined application checklist.

  4. To log into ReQSys, please use the existing User ID and Password used in the previous registration. Please contact LJBM IT Division at 03-26108147 for assistance on the existing User ID and Password.

  5. No receipt of supporting documents in physical form (hardcopy).

  1. A copy of the last registration certificate with LJBM.

  2. A recent passport -sized photograph (formal dress).

  3. Declaration on service as a Quantity Surveyor during the period of cancellation of registration with LJBM.

  4. Employer information and work address.

Payment

Payment is online through the ReQSys system. The total payment that needs to be submitted is RM150.00 which includes:


RM100.00 (registration fee).
RM50.00 (non-refundable processing fee).

Requirements
  1. Interview Session with LJBM.

    The LJBM Secretariat will submit an interview notice after all the above requirements are met.

  2. Tier II.

    The requirement to sit and pass Tier II  will only be determined based on the decision of the panel during the interview session with LJBM.

Requirement

  1. To ensure that all the requirements of the Malaysian Board of Quantity Surveyors (LJBM) Registration guidelines are met.

  2. Ensure that the registration of principals/ partners/ directors is active.

Required documents

  1. Letter of application for re-registration containing a declaration on the status of the services of a material survey consultant during the period of cancellation.

  2. A copy of the firm's last registration certificate.

Payment

Payment is online through the ReQSys system. The total payment that needs to be submitted is RM2,100.00 which includes:

RM2,000.00 (registration fee).
RM100.00 (non-refundable processing fee).

Please note that applicants may be required to attend an interview session conducted by the Registration and Qualifications Committee before the application is considered. Applicants will be informed of the interview session schedule by the BQSM secretariat after all application requirements are met.
