Important Notes

  1. Only completed applications will be processed.

  2. Please note that all applications will be tabled in the Registration and Qualifications Committee Meeting for certification before being tabled at the Board Meeting for official decision. Applications received less than 3 days from the date of the Committee Meeting will only be tabled in the next Board Meeting.

  3. Applications and supporting documents need to be completed and uploaded through the ReQSys system based on a pre-determined application checklist.

  4. No receipt of supporting documents in physical form (hardcopy).

Requirement
  1. Ensure that the CPD credit point requirements are met as follows :
    (Please refer to PDF below)
  2. ATTENTION: :
      1. For courses/ seminars organized by BQSM, CPD credit points will be automatically recorded in the MyCPD system.
      2. For courses/ seminars by registered organizers that have been approved by BQSM :
        • Participation records and CPD need to be updated by the organizers. Please contact the organizer if your CPD information is not updated; or
        • Applicants can also update CPD records by using the MyCPD Enrollments application. Proof of participation must be uploaded.
      3. For CPD credit points through methods other than (i) and (ii), please submit an application through My External CPD Application: Apply CPD Credit Point in the MyCPD system. CPD credit points will be updated once the application is approved.
      4. Please note that the registration re-entry process will only proceed once the CPD credit points requirements are met

Requirement

  1. To ensure that all the requirements of the Malaysian Board of Quantity Surveyors (LJBM) Registration guidelines are met.

  2. Ensure that the registration of principals/ partners/ directors is active.

Required documents

  1. Letter of application for re-entry of registration containing a declaration on the status of the services of material surveying consultants during the period of cancellation.

  2. A copy of the firm's latest profile.

  3. A copy of the firm's official letterhead.

  4. A copy of the latest EPF contribution proof.

Please note that applicants may be required to attend an interview session conducted by the Registration and Qualifications Committee before the application is considered. Applicants will be informed of the interview session schedule by the BQSM secretariat after all application requirements are met.
