Important Notes

  1. Only completed applications will be processed.

  2. Please note that all applications will be tabled in the Registration and Qualifications Committee Meeting for certification before being tabled at the Board Meeting for formal decision. Complete applications received less than 3 days from the date of the Committee Meeting will only be tabled in the next Board Meeting.

  3. Applications and supporting documents need to be completed and uploaded through the ReQSys system based on a pre-determined application checklist.

  4. No receipt of supporting documents in physical form (hardcopy).

Requirement
  1. Meet the qualifications of the principal / partner / director as full time or part time.
  2. Provide the practice name.
  3. Firms with Corporation status must ensure that the registration requirements of the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) are met.

Documents Needed
  1. Appointment of new directors/partners:
      • Letter of resignation/consent to be a partner/director in the firm.
      • Curriculum Vitae for partners/directors to be appointed.
  2. Letter of resignation from the director/partner.
  3.  For firms with organisation/corporation status:
      • The latest director structure information of the company.
      • The company's latest equity structure information.
  4. For firms with partnership status:
      • A signed and stamped copy of the partnership agreement

Payment

RM300.00 processing fee will be charged online through the ReQSys system.

Upload all documents needed to the ReQSys system.

Please note that applicants may be required to attend an interview session conducted by the Registration and Qualifications Committee before the application is considered. The applicant will be informed of the interview session schedule by the LJBM secretariat after he/she meets all the requirements.

Eligibility requirements
  1. To ensure that the requirements of the Malaysian Board of Quantity Surveyors (LJBM) Registration guidelines as follows are met:
      • Number of Branch Offices allowed.
      • Eligibility for the appointment of a Branch Manager.
        (Note: please refer to the LJBM Registration guidelines which can be downloaded from the LJBM portal)

  1. Curriculum Vitae of Branch Manager.

  2. Copy of Branch Manager Registration Certificate with LJBM.

Processing fee of RM300.00 online in ReQSys system (non-refundable).

Requirement
  1. To ensure that the requirements of the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia (BQSM) Registration guidelines as follows are met:
      • Name of authorized firm.
      • (Note: please refer to the LJBM Registration guidelines which can be downloaded from the LJBM portal)

Required documents
  1. For Firms of Corporation: confirmation document of change of firm name by the Companies Commission of Malaysia.

  2. For Partnership Firms: Copy of partner agreement / additional partner agreement that has been stamped.

  3. Official letter regarding the justification of the change of firm name.

A non-refundable processing fee of RM300.00 online in the ReQSys system.
